IIM-A launches its website in Hindi

Ahmedabad, Sept 26:

The Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) on Monday
launched its website in Hindi, the official language of the Government
of India, as a part of the ongoing celebration of the Hindi Fortnight
from September 14 to 29.

Each year the fortnight is observed for implementation of the Official
Language Policy of the Government of India. Prof BH Jajoo, Dean, IIM-A
unveiled the Hindi website at the IIM-A campus.

Prof Anand Kumar Jaiswal, Chairperson of Official Language
Implementation Committee, said the IIM-A has become the first
management institute in India to officially launch its website in the
Hindi Language. More people are expected to have access to the
information on the IIM-A’s programmes and activities, he said.

The other events organized as part of the Hindi Fortnight included a
book exhibition, essay Writing, poem recitation, vocabulary and debate
in the Hindi language.
