*Final Call Poliglotti4.eu Expert Seminar on Early Language Learning*

There are still a few places left for the international Poliglotti4.eu
Expert Seminar on Early Language Learning, which will be held on the *9th
and 10th of February 2012 in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands*. This seminar is
organised by Mercator Research, part of the Fryske Akademy and member of
the Mercator Network.

The seminar will focus on the early language learning situation in Europe,
on research outcomes and products so far, on policy-recommendations and on
the challenges for the future of early language learning. Participants in
this Expert Seminar on Early Language Learning include: experts,
researchers, policy-makers, members of the European Commission, Consortium
members of the Poliglotti4.eu project, and network members of the EU Civil
Society Platform on Multilingualism. The aim of the seminar is to share
knowledge and provide opportunities for roundtable discussions, further
research and future collaboration.

Broadly speaking, the seminar schedule will look as follows:

*Wednesday, 8th February (18.00-20.00)*
- Welcome reception

*Thursday, 9th February (all day)*
- Registration
- Seminar sessions and roundtable discussions
- Conference dinner (evening)

*Friday, 10th February (08.30-15.30)*
- Seminar sessions and roundtable discussions
- Closing
