The Saultstar discusses efforts to preserve the Ojibwe language, an endangered First Nations language spoken primarily in the northern Midwest region of the United States and Ontario, Canada. Spearheading the efforts is Patricia Ningewance, who lectures on the subject and has published seven textbooks related to the Ojibwe language.
