Announcing a Special Issue of *The Bilingual Review/La Revista Bilingüe*
Honoring Richard Ruiz



*The Bilingual Review/La Revista Bilingüe *is pleased to announce the
publication of volume 33 number 3, a special issue honoring the legacy of
Professor Richard Ruiz.  Professor Ruiz was a pioneering scholar in the
fields of bilingual education, language policy and planning, and Mexican
American studies.  The contributions to the issue explore the implications
and applications of his work in these fields.



Housed in the Department of Bicultural-Bilingual Studies at the University
of Texas at San Antonio since 2014, *The Bilingual Review/La Revista
Bilingüe *is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that has published work
on bilingualism, bilingual education, and Latin American literature since
1974.
