I have had very good experiences with individual transmitter
microphones attached to key people.
they pick up others around, but allow good voice separation
and high quality voices for transcription. Rather like what opera singers
and TV pundits use.
You have a receiver that can be plugged either into a tape recorder as a backup
for the video, or directly into the video.
