don't know the department so can't answer specific questions but I can answer

lecturer would have approximately 150 students to teach each = semester

GENDER STUDIES SEEKS VISITING LECTURER
Gender Studies seeks an = instructor, preferably one who
has completed their graduate degree coursework, = to offer the following
three courses each semester for Academic Year 2004-05:
Two sections of G102 Sexual = Politics on TR 1:00-2:15 &
on TR 4:00-5:15 both Fall and Spring = semesters (approximately 55
students each section)
G302 Topics in the Study of = Gender on MW 9:30-10:45 in
the Fall & TR 9:30-10:45 in Spring = (approximately 35 students each
semester)

course descriptions. The = deadline for applications is June 30 or
until position is filled. =
Qualifications
Applicants should have a = demonstrably strong graduate
academic background in gender studies, either having = completed the
doctoral minor in Gender Studies, or graduate level = education of
equivalent depth related to women, gender, or sexuality. = Previous and
relevant instructional experience is desired.
Duties =
Instructors design course syllabus, order = textbooks or
produce course readers, place materials on library reserve, = prepare
and present weekly lectures and coordinate class discussion, and offer
consultation and office hours. Additionally, the instructors = receive,
record, and return all required student assignment, provide = detailed,
constructive, and fair assessment of student work, complete and = submit
all final grades, and ensure full B.E.S.T. evaluation of the class =
before the end of teaching.
