Hello,

While this is not something I've remarked upon myself here in Toronto, a
student of mine from Bermuda claims it has become quite popular back home
amongst a group of her friends--predominately Black or Portuguese males in
their early 20s.  She interprets it as done with humour but, as Rudi suggests,
there is an 'edge' to it.

Interestingly, it's also become a popular pose when being photographed.
