Seeking Applicants for the SLA "web guru" position.

Dear SLA members,

The Society for Linguistic Anthropology is seeking applicants for the
position of "web guru" for the 2009 calendar year. Responsibilities
include maintaining our website at http://linguisticanthropology.org
updating and moderating the blog, as well as managing the two e-mail
SLA e-mail lists (SLA-AAA and LINGANTH).

Requisite skills include a basic understanding of HTML syntax and some
familiarity and/or willingness to learn online tools such as WordPress
(the software which runs our website). The pay is $1500 per year, paid
in four installments.

You will be working closely with the SLA digital media editor, P.
Kerim Friedman http://kerim.oxus.net/ who will be selecting the
applicant.
