SLA Blog

[Leila Monaghan]

Hi, am just sticking my head up after a more than full spring semester.  I
wanted to invite people to write for the SLA blog, either one off pieces or
on a regular basis.  Possible subjects include reactions to language issues
in the news, language justice issues, short discussions of recent books or
articles (your own or others), and more contemplative pieces about the place
of linguistic anthropology in the world. If you have a separate blog where
you discuss such issues, feel free to cross-post relevant pieces.  I will
also be working to connect up anything on our blog with Twitter.  (Do follow
me if you are on Twitter, I'm @LeilaMonaghan and I happily follow anyone
connected to language and/or culture studies).
