[Linganth] 12th LANSI Program Available and Registration Open!

We are excited to invite you to the 12th Annual Meeting of /The Language 
and Social Interaction Working Group/ (LANSI), which is scheduled to 
take place on *Oct 18-19 (Friday and Saturday) *at Teachers College, 
Columbia University. The full conference program

This year, we are delighted to have (a) *Mary Bucholtz *and her 
collaborator*Erika Prado* and (b) *Phillip Glenn* as our invited 
speakers, and we can’t wait to hear these talks and many others:


(1)The interactional contingency of desire: Intersubjective uncertainty 
and haptic sociality in autistic communication without speech (Bucholtz 
& Prado, UCSB)

(2)Moving past online hostility: Formulating practices in conversation 
with people who hate me (Phillip Glenn, Emerson)
