On Monday, October 13, at 16.00 (Central European Time), ELAN (European
Association of Social Anthropologists Linguistic Anthropology Network) will
kick off its 2025-2026 workshop series with a book launch for Chelsie Yount's
new monograph entitled, *Selective Solidarity: Children and Middle-Class
Moralities in Transnational Senegal *(2025, University of Pennsylvania
Press), with Aïssatou Mbodj-Pouye acting as discussant. We’d like to
