Interrogative verbs are also attested (at least) in Kinyarwanda and Hua;
they are briefly surveyed and compared to the Yankunytjatjara (Western
Desert) examples in Bickel, Typolog. Grundlagen der Satzverkettung,
Zurich 1991, pp. 96f, 124.
In both Yankunytjatjara and Kinyarwanda, the semantics involves manner
of action and the interrogative verbs are matched by deictic verbs
('doing it THIS way', as gestured). In the case of Kinywarwanda, the
interrogative verb paradigm is severly defective and has a coverb-like
syntax.
