Dear Edith,
it seems to be Swahili. The song's titel is - as you say - Sifuni Mungu
'Praise God'.
A very rough (!) interpretation would be:
Vi-umbe vy-ote vy-a Mungu wetu - na mfalme wetu.
CL-creature CL-all CL-of God CL:our and King CL:our
Pazeni sauti - ili, nasi (read: na sisi), mwimbe (read: muimbe)
lift:2pl voice so=that with us sing
Wa-tu wote, vi-umbe vy-ote, awaye y-ote, sifu Mungu
CL:PL-human-being CL:PL-creature (s)he=who=exits CL-any praise God
Hope this helps,
best wishes,Wolfgang
