this is just to inform you that there is a very nice description of
Persian available under

The author is/ Peter-Arnold Mumm/ from the University of Munich. Alas,
the description is in German, but I guess that many of you will share
with me the impression that Peter-Arnold has produced a very helpful and
highly learnt description of the basics of Persian that has been
predominantly designed for the use in classes, but that nevertheless
contains many data also interesting to typologists.
