InField 2010:
INSTITUTE ON FIELD LINGUISTICS AND LANGUAGE DOCUMENTATION

The Institute on Field Linguistics and Language Documentation is designed
for field linguists, graduate students, and language activists to receive
training in current techniques and issues in language documentation,
language maintenance, and language revitalization.

REGISTRATION
Applications for registration (available on the website) will be processed
upon receipt with notification within 14 days. Applications received prior
to May 22, 2010 will have priority for housing; applications submitted after
May 22 will have higher fees and may not allow access to housing.

** The Northwest Indian Language Institute (NILI) will also be hosting its
annual Summer Institute (June 21 – July 30), with courses covering topics
including Northwest languages, linguistics, and language teaching methods,
centered on the theme Language and Place.  Participants at InField will also
be able to attend NILI courses if they prefer these to some workshops.
