noun + classifier phrase order and foregrounding

Dear all,

    Hainan Cham (Tsat) uses the order noun+classifier phrase versus classifier phrase+noun to indicate backgrounded vs. foregrounded, respectively. Do other languages do the same thing? I assume they must, but my assumptions are sometimes wrong.
