Three common variations of this type of greeting are in Tikhak variety of Tangsa (TB language of Bodo-Konyak-Jingphaw, aka ‘Sal’ group), spoken in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, India :
General:

where loc roam-go-pst
where have you come from?

Specific directional:

mko mə-rewan-te
where dem-come-pst
from which direction did you come?

Specific locational:

mta mə-rewan-te
which dem-come-pst
from which place have you come?

Cheers,
Paul Hastie
