Call for Abstracts:
We welcome submissions (in English, no more than two pages, including
examples and references) dealing with historical linguistics (including
sociolinguistic aspects) of Caucasian languages and languages spoken in the
Caucasus.
A special one-day workshop will be held on imperfective modalities in the
languages of the area.
Accepted presentations may be delivered in English, Russian, French or
other language, but we suggest that handouts and powerpoint projections are
in English.
Each presentation will be allotted 30 minutes followed by 10 minutes of
discussion.
There is no participation fee.

The deadline for abstract submission is 31 December 2016.
Anonymous abstracts (in pdf format) should be sent to the following email
address: helene.gerardin at inalco.fr
with “Historical Linguistics of the Caucasus - Abstract” stated as the
email subject. The following information should be provided in the body of
the e-mail:
- title of the abstract,
- author’s or authors’ first and last names, and affiliation(s),
- e-mail address.
Each author may be involved in no more than two abstracts, of which no more
than one may be single-authored. Please specify whether you submit your
abstract to the main session or the workshop.
The decision of the Organizing Committee on the acceptance/rejection of
submissions will be communicated to the authors no later than 15 February
2017.
