[Lingtyp] Typological works on echoes

thanks Ian,

You'll be fine.  Your inviting presentation reminded me of the computer
program "Eliza"  created by Weitzenbaum at MIT in the 1964.

By the late 1970's it was widely available on the early microcomputers,
which were themselves beginning to be widely available.

The user would type in something, "Eliza" would parse the words and
build a leading question out of some of those words;

surprisingly well given the limitations: 44K of RAM and BASIC
programming language.

You might benefit from having a look at that bit of computer history: a
form of echoing on early computers.

Piet as an homage to Danish polymath, Piet Hein.
