Dear all, 
the deadline for abstract submission to the 5th Usage-Based Linguistics conference has been extended to January 22, 2020! Here’s the call for papers:

UBL5 | 5th Usage-Based Linguistics conference

The 5th Usage-Based Linguistics conference, jointly organised by Tel Aviv University, University of Haifa, Ben Gurion University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, will be held at the Tel Aviv University campus, June 30-July 2, 2020.
The conference aims to bring together researchers who study language structure and use from a wide range of perspectives ? typological, developmental, psycholinguistic, interaction-oriented, text-oriented, and computational.

Keynote speakers:

Balthasar Bickel (University of Zurich), Ev Fedorenko (MIT), Ted Gibson (MIT), Sabine Stoll (University of Zurich)

Call for papers:

We invite original papers, which adopt a Usage-Based Approach to the study of language, including corpus-based and experimental methodologies. We welcome abstracts on any aspect of language structure and use. Proposals can take one of three formats:
1. Oral papers (20 minute talk + 10 minute discussion)
2. Posters
3. Symposia, composed of four related 15 + 5 minute talks + 10 minute general discussion

Abstract submission:

Abstracts are limited to 400 words (excluding title and list of references). Authors can submit up to 2 abstracts, provided they are first author on only one of them.
