Hi everyone,

I’m a grad student at SUNY - Buffalo in New York (UB) working on my
dissertation proposal in path encoding typology. Part of it involves an
idea to create a database of community-submitted Frog Story narratives at
UB, where I would make them available to the typological community at
large. More specifically, I am looking for submissions in languages which
are understudied or for which these data have not yet been made widely
available (such as at the CHILDES corpus.) These frog stories would need to
be interlinearized, glossed, and translated. The names of the collectors,
transcribers, and other participants would be acknowledged and provided,
insofar as that is what they would prefer. At the moment, I am trying to
figure out whether there is enough interest to make such an endeavor
worthwhile. If you would be interested in contributing, please let me know.

Thank you,

John Shuey
