Particularly to Riccardo G. and Bernhard W. who writes: "comparison of
inequality (which strengthens my point that "expletive" negation can have
something to do with non-identity)"  Fine ! Cp.  Sanscr. *śreyo mŗtamׅ na
jīvitam **"*better (is) death than *na*  life" (in Ital. you may say
"...che *non *la vita")

equativi ŗgvedici *iva* e* ná, “Arch.Glottol.Ital.”: 46-87, with further
examples of negative comparison as telugu and nahuatl) .
