I assume you know

Coleman, Linda & Kay, Paul 1981, "Prototype semantics: the English word 
lie". /Language/ 57:26-44.

One approach (which you have certainly thought of, too) is to consult 
dictionaries of synonyms. For instance,

https://www.freethesaurus.com/lie

gives you 15 (near) synonyms of English /lie/.

https://www.openthesaurus.de/

gives you the same number for German. I am sure sociolects are rich in 
words meaning 'lie'. The one current in my youth (/schocken/) is not 
even listed by the openthesaurus.
