[Lingtyp] copula as focus marker (Minella Duzerol)

Dear Christian,
In Martinican, a French-based creole language spoken in Martinique, the copula sé works also as a focus marker (Damoiseau 2012, 123). I added the gloses.


Man     lé                     manjé              pwason.

                        s1sg    want                eat                   fish

                        ‘Je veux manger du poisson.’

                        Sé        pwason            man     lé                     manjé.

                        cop      fish                  s1sg    want                eat

                        ‘C’est du poisson que je veux manger.’
