Dear Masha,
some aspects of what you are looking for are treated in
Lehmann, Christian 2022, “Foundations of body-part grammar”. Valenzuela,
Pilar & Zariquiey, Roberto (eds.), /The grammar of body-part
expressions. A view from the Americas/. Oxford etc: Oxford University
Press; 14-76. (DOI: 10.1093/oso/9780198852476.003.0002) [download PDF

Section 2.2.3.1 adduces some examples from Yucatec Maya, featuring in
particular the lexeme /óol/ 'psyche, mind', which is the locus of all
feelings and mental dispositions. Beside this, Yucatec Maya has the
following lexemes:
/máak/ 'man, woman, someone'
/wíinik/ 'human being (as opposed to animal), person'
/wíinikil/ 'body' (derived in a formally productive, but semantically
obscure way from /wíinik/)
/pixan/ 'soul' (a notion heavily reshaped by Christian religion)
Cheers,
Christian
