Dear all,

I am wondering whether anyone has encountered any typological counterparts
of the following construction in Colloquial Georgian.

An answer to a wh-question can consist of a repetition of the question (or
of the wh-phrase from it) and the actual answer.
Schematically
Q: What did you buy?
A: [What / What did I buy] and [some bread]
Actual example
Q: ra iq'ide A: [ra (viq'ide)]
                   da [p'uri]
     what.NOM buy.AOR.2SG what.NOM buy.AOR.1SG & bread.NOM
'What did you buy?' 'Bread' lit. 'What did I
buy and bread'.

Many thanks,
Best,
David
