Join the Young Africanists Research Network (YARN) for an online workshop
on the opportunities and challenges of pursuing a Linguistics PhD in
Europe.

The workshop will feature a discussion and open question round with Prof.
Katharina Hartmann (University of Frankfurt) and 2 PhD students, who will
discuss different aspects of pursuing a PhD in Linguistics in Europe,
including doctoral programmes, funding opportunities, application
processes, and academic experiences.

The workshop is open to students, early-career researchers, and anyone
interested in pursuing a PhD in Linguistics in Europe.
