Subject: Temporary Problem with SLRF 95 Web Address

Someone did some cleaning on the server and put together all the files from
SLRF 95 in a single folder. Unfortunately that changed the old address of
the main page of SLRF 95.

Until tomorrow around noon (Sept. 27) when I fix the page you can access
the temporary address where the SLRF info is right now:

http://www.dmll.cornell.edu/SLRF-html/SLRF95.html

I'll change it to the old address because the original URL is shorter and
some people have alreaday set up their bookmarks with the old one.

After Sept. 27 at noon the original address will continue to be:

http://www.dmll.cornell.edu/SLRF95.html

I apologize for the inconvenience that might have caused you.

There have been several questions about IPA (and other fonts) on the list.

We at the Yamada Language Center at the University of Oregon have an
extensive archive of non-English (and a few interesting English) fonts,
complete with samples of the fonts to see before you download

Included in the archive are several phonetic fonts that use IPA
(I think the SILIPA is the best of the lot)

The archive can be found on the WWW at:

http://babel.uoregon.edu/yamada/fonts.html

The phonetic fonts can be found directly at:

http://babel.uoregon.edu/yamada/fonts/phonetic.html
