Lectureship in Phonetics
The post of Lecturer in Phonetics is available in the Department of
Linguistics and Phonetics, University of Leeds, from 1 August
2000. The successful candidate will have a proven record of
research and teaching in the fields of general and
experimental/instrumental phonetics, and will be required to teach
the subject at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise
research students, and undertake research and publication.
Research and teaching interests in an additional area of the
discipline, including (but not limited to) speech technology,
phonological theory, language acquisition, speech disorders,
sociolinguistics and language variation, would be advantageous.
