Our global language processing software client is looking for a senior
software linguist. Will be responsible for designing and developing a
text processing application for medical software. The core functionality
of the application allows medical text to be synthesized for extraction
of specific text.
Candidate should have at least an MA in Linguistics, Computational
Linguistics or Computer Science. Will be responsible for rule writing
and building classifiers. Knowledge of Perl, XML or XXLT is strongly
desired. Will be using these programming languages. Strong knowledge
of NLP, text processing and linguistic analysis required. Knowledge
of medical terminology is a plus.
