For a 1975 paper now being edited, I seek the source
of the following quotation:  "the linguist wants to
describe not only the form but the meaning of
expressions in the language he studies; it is the job
of philosophical logic to say what it is to describe
meaning in language, and to question whether the
linguist's goal is achievable."  Thanks for any help.
