A lingustics engineer position is being offered by an information
technology firm that provides systems integration, consulting,
eBusiness, and eGovernment services and solutions. They have been
around for 25 years and have over 1900 employees. They were rated by
ITrecruitermag.com as one of the Top 50 Tech Places to Work in 2001and
by Fortune Magazine as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work
For. Their corporate partners include Microsoft, Tivoli, and Oracle.
REQUIRED SKILLS
*Minimum 1 year experience
*Masters Degree Linguistics
*CS or other engineering discipline
*UNIX, NT, Sun workstations, PC
*Perl or other computer scripting languages
*Experience in/knowledge of linguistics, AI
*Must have a computational background.
DESIRED SKILLS
PhD in Linguistics, CS. Java, C++. Interest or experience in NLP,
clearance Fluency in French, Spanish or other Languages.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Support migration of Assentor English language patterns to new
architecture. Template elements are the descriptive material around
