Subject: Comparative Germanic Syntax Workshop / CGSW
The 16th Comparative Germanic Syntax Workshop (CGSW) will take place
at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, from May 5-6. Below please
find some useful information regarding the workshop. The program
(including abstracts, schedule and other information) is available on
the CGSW web site: http://www.mcgill.ca/cgsw .
WELCOME DRINK AND REGISTRATION:
We invite all conference participants to join us for a welcome drink
on Friday, May 4, 2001, 17:00-20:00, in the Department of
Linguistics, 1085 Doctor Penfield (corner Peel).
CONFERENCE LOCATION:
All talks will take place at Thomson House, 3650 McTavish (between
Doctor Penfield and Avenue des Pins). For an interactive map of the
campus, please visit our website.
CONFERENCE PARTY:
On Saturday, May 5, from 19:30-21:30, there will be a reception
sponsored by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany
in Montréal and hosted by the Goethe Institut (418 Sherbrooke Est,
metro Sherbrooke, corner of St. Denis). Food and drinks will be
provided, and the reception is at no additional charge to registered
participants
