Textkonstituierung in gesprochener Sprache.
Eine Fallstudie zum Verfahren der Verortung am Beispiel samoanischer
Narrationen.

Untersuchungen, die sich mit gesprochenen Texten beschaeftigen,
muessen der Tatsache Rech-nung tragen, daß es sich um lautliche
Kontinua mit eigenen Gestaltungsprinzipien handelt. Da-durch eroeffnet
sich eine spezifische Perspektive auf die Konstituierung solcher
Texte: Zu fragen ist zunaechst nach ihrer Segmentierung, nach den
Einheiten, in die sich der Redefluß sinnvoll unterteilen laeßt. Im
Zentrum dieser Untersuchung steht der Paragraph, der als eine von den
Sprechenden intendierte Gliederungseinheit aufgefaßt wird und sowohl
strukturell als auch semantisch signifikante Merkmale aufweist.  Die
im Kern textsemantische Analyse wird an der Textsorte Narration
entwickelt: Erzaehlungen sind durch eine Textwelt mit den Komponenten
Ort, Zeit und Person gekennzeichnet. Anhand des Aufbaus und der
Entwicklung der Textwelt - im vorliegenden Fall untersucht an der
Kom-ponente Narrativer Ort - laeßt sich die Gliederung der Rede
verfolgen. Die Autorin spricht hierbei von Verortung als
textkonstituierendem Verfahren. Sprecherische Verfahren und
sprachliche Muster im Umgang mit dem Raum haben Auswirkungen auf die
Konstituierung von narrativen Texten in einer Weise, wie wir es von
den anderen beiden referentiellen Berei-chen bereits kennen
(vgl. Partizipantenverfolgung und Taxisphaenomene). Die Verfahren, die
am Beispiel des Samoanischen herausgearbeitet werden, zeigen, daß die
Sprechenden ueber raeumliche Textfunktionen wie Raumkonstanz und
Dichte vorrangig die Kontinuitaet der Rede signalisieren. Dabei
spielen neben raumdimensionalen Elementen semantisch spezifische
Lexeme der Fortbewegung eine große Rolle, waehrend umgekehrt
deiktische Direktional-partikeln Diskontinuitaeten der Rede
kennzeichnen.
