The Department of English at Texas A&M University invites applications
for a one-year visiting position in linguistics at the assistant
professor level, to start Fall 2001. Candidates must have Ph.D. in
linguistics and demonstrated research and teaching ability. Courses to
be taught include Introduction to Linguistics; Language and Society.
Ability to teach Sound Structure of Language with laboratory component
also desirable.
