Georgetown University/USAID: English Studies and Intercultural
Training (ESIT). Bankya, Bulgaria. 13 weeks, beginning January 6,
2002. Looking for a highly competent ESL teacher to teach in an
innovative, intensive, task-based program. High standards. Requires
high level of accountability and commitment. ~45 adult learners with
degrees in higher education; key players in the democratic
process. American teaching team of 4 plus bilingual Bulgarian
administrative coordinator. Residential course. Must be American
citizen and native speaker of American English. Must be
flexible. Experience/interest in public administration, finance,
development issues a plus. Stipend of $4,225 for 13 weeks plus private
room with bathroom, 3 meals/day, and transportation to and from the
