Description:
Two postdoc positions for one year are open at INRIA/ Lorraine, Nancy,
France starting in September 2003.
The applicant will be working in the context of the 'langue et Dialogue'
research unit and working on:
Inference in Natural Language Processing (Analysis and Generation)
The candidate will continue the design, implementation, and
integration of the software for inference (theorem provers, model
builders) and natural language processing within the project.
The qualifications for this position are a PhD or equivalent in a
research area related to Natural Language Processing. Interest and
experience with dialogue systems, natural language analysis and/or
generation and/or theorem proving are especially desirable. A PhD
degree is required; experience in programming (Haskell a plus) and an
interest in Natural Language Processing is essential. Background in
computational linguistics will be appreciated, but is not a
requirement.
