The Fondación Duqes de Soria is organizing a summer course on the
applications of spoken language systems in Soria, Spain from July 12
to July 16 2004.
Topics covered are:
Objective assessments of Spoken Language Systems (R. San-Segundo,
Universidad Politécnica de Madrid)
Emotions in person-machine communications (J.M. Montero, Universidad
Politécnica de Madrid)
Prosody in natural human interaction (A. Hidalgo, Universidad de
Valencia)
The commercial development and applications of spoken language systems
(J. Relaño, Telfonica I+D; C. Martin, Infospeech; . Gil, Caja Madrid;
E, Vilaclara, Servei Meterològic de Catalunya).
The course will be taught in Spanish.
