Description:

The Department of English at the University of Hamburg invites applications
for two half-time positions of research assistants starting 1 October 2005.
Salary is ranked according to the BAT IIa scale. These are non-permanent
positions terminating after three years.

The successful applicants are expected to teach one course per semester,
assist in ongoing research and successfully complete work on a PhD-thesis.

Applicants need a university degree in linguistics. An excellent command of
English is essential.
