Description:
Tenure-track Assistant Professor of French, August 2006. Two-year appointment
renewable. Five courses per year, including language courses. Field of
specialization in applied linguistics with special interest and experience in
teaching second language composition, translation, interpretation, and/or
phonetics. Applicants must have a firm commitment to undergraduate teaching and
submit evidence of same, including course evaluations, and a sample proposal and
syllabus for an advanced undergraduate course in the fields above. Proficiency
in use of technology is expected.
