Description:
Applications are invited for a tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant
Professor in Linguistics, Department of Humanities, University of Toronto at
Scarborough (UTSC), to begin July 1, 2006. Candidates must have a PhD in hand,
with a specialization in the phonetics-phonology interface. A research interest
and relevant background in applied linguistics (e.g., L2 phonology,
sociophonetics, clinical phonology) would be an asset. In addition to
undergraduate teaching, duties include graduate teaching and supervision;
applicants must demonstrate excellence in both research and teaching. Salary
will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

deadline for applications is November 28, 2005.
