We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

Subject: Future Expression in French
I was wondering if anyone had some pointers to give me concerning recent
publications on Future expression in French, and especially in Spoken French.
I am interested in the use of periphrastic future expression in spoken
French, since I have observed 'unusual' use in a spoken corpus I've just
recorded, so I was wondering if any research had been conducted lately in
this area.
I would be most grateful for any suggestions in this area!

I am interested in available resources for teaching syntax to students
preparing to be schoolteachers. In particular, I would like to know of any
Cuisinaire-rod-like or other tactile materials using varying shapes/colors.
Thanks.
