Dear Colleagues: 

We would like to announce the initial public release of the Buckeye Corpus
of conversational speech. The corpus contains high-quality recordings from
40 speakers in Columbus, OH. The speech has been orthographically
transcribed and phonetically labeled. Currently the audio files and
transcriptions for 20 talkers are available. For more information, please
