Greetings, Linguists!
A newly digitized installment (the last one!) of the classic satirical
linguistics anthology Lingua Pranca is now available online for your
browsing pleasure--brought to you by the publishers of Speculative Grammarian.
http://SpecGram.com/LP/00.contents.html#new
The publishers of SpecGram have been pleased and proud to present Lingua
Pranca over the course of 2006. Though previously unrelated to our journal,
Lingua Pranca was a philosophical forerunner to many of the more recent
volumes of Speculative Grammarian.
Part 6 includes works from the ''Of Labs and Lobes'' and
''Theolinguistics'' sections of Lingua Pranca. Recommended reading includes
''The Ten Commandments'' and ''An Inupik Linguistic Fragment''.
Next time (January 2007), we will have an all-new issue of Speculative
Grammarian. In February we will begin Son of Lingua Pranca!
Enjoy!
