Description:
The Institute for English Language Programs (IEL) offers student-centered,
content-based academic programs for international students and area
residents at five levels of proficiency in daytime and evening classes, and
plans to institute an MA-TESOL degree program in 2005-2006. IEL invites
holders of the Ph.D. in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field to
respond to openings for several preceptors who will be involved in
full-time teaching of English to speakers of other languages in the Harvard
Extension and Summer Schools, as well as some teaching in the MATESOL
program. These preceptorships, which will take effect on June 21, 2006,
will be granted for three years, with the possibility of renewal for
another three years.
