Description:
The English Department of Ghent University (Belgium) seeks to hire a
full-time teaching assistant for a two-year period (renewable twice).
Applicants for this position should be prepared to teach a variety of
introductory courses in Linguistics and English Language Proficiency and
will be expected to dedicate half their working time to PhD research in an
area of English Language Studies.
Applicants should have a first degree in 'Language & Literature: Germanic
Languages (English)' or an equivalent degree (for international
applicants). A Master degree in Linguistics, TEFL or Applied Linguistics is
particularly welcomed.
