The Department of Linguistics, University of Kashmir is hosting a Two-day National Seminar on Perspectives in Linguistics.
Dates of the Seminar : November 8-9, 2006
Papers are invited from the member scholars on any of the following broad areas of Linguistics:
Sociolinguistics and Ethnolinguistics
Dialectology
Stylistics
Comparative Historical Linguistics
Natural Language Processing
Phonetics and Phonology
Indian Grammatical Tradition
Morphology
Syntax
Lexicography and Translation
Applied Linguistics
Discourse Analysis and Pragmatics
Language and Media
Abstracts: Abstracts should be limited to one page A4 size with text in a space no larger than 6 by 8 inches including the title and the name and institution of the scholar and sent to:
