Description:
The Linguistics Program invites applications for a tenure-track position at
the Assistant Professor level, with specialization in Morphology,
Semantics, or Sociolinguistics (with preference for Urban Dialectology).
Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in more than one of
the areas specified above. The candidates should have the PhD degree by the
summer of 2008. Duties include a sustained research program, a teaching
load of four courses per year, and departmental/university service.
