Language Lab Manager
Saint Joseph's University, located in Philadelphia is currently recruiting
for a Language Lab Manager. The Language Lab Manager will assist the Chair
of Foreign Language and Literatures Department (FLAN) in the efficient and
effective management of multimedia computing labs, classrooms and
technology resources in FLAN. The Manager will support faculty members in
their efforts to use technologies in the multimedia labs and classrooms to
develop materials to enhance language learning. The Manager will also
assist faculty members and students in addressing computing related issues
and provide technical support, including hardware and software and perform
other duties as assigned.
To succeed in this position, you are required to have a Bachelor of Science
or Bachelor of Arts and a minimum of two years experience in computing
support. Qualified candidates must also have strong working knowledge of
digital video and audio in a networked environment; strong audio and video
equipment troubleshooting skills; knowledge of networking and data
communications; strong computer hardware and software troubleshooting
skills; knowledge of Mac OS X, Windows XP, Vista, and Windows Server;
knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite for both Mac and PC; and web page
creation and development.
