Description:

Following the success of its English Language and Literature Unit of
Assessment in the l2008 RAE, the School of Humanities seeks to appoint a
Professor in the following subject area: 

Professor in English Literature 09/230

Applications are invited from outstanding researchers working in any area
of Literature in English, although preference might be given to candidates
with research interests in areas associated with the School's key research
centres: The Centre for Life Narratives, The Iris Murdoch Centre and The
Centre for Suburban Studies. Candidates able to teach and research from
interdisciplinary perspectives are especially welcome. For more information
